History
In the beginning Timothy Martin sold cars for 20 years. During his tenure as a car salesman, Martin began cooking up tasty home-cooked meals for his co-workers, using family recipes, which prompted him to open his own restaurant. In 2008 Martin and his brother opened Martin’s Kitchen, which would go on to be Martin’s Soul Food & Catering. In 2010, Cynthia Terry, Co-Founder joined forced to begin their partnership. Cynthia previous experience includes working at Harris Teeter as a manager in Deli & Bakery.
During the journey, they were able to expand, which has now produced restaurant’s in Virginia Beach, Norfolk (waterside District), Chesapeake, Gloucester, and recently Newport News, VA. As of 2018 MSF&C will begin operation of the Food Trucks
Centrally located throughout Hampton Roads, and a current member of the Chamber of Commerce, our goal is for every customer to leave satisfied, for all our establishments to operate with excellence, and to establish our services as a distinct brand of business.
